His first Spyderco collaboration, the PITS short for Pie in the Sky Read's forum name on British knife forums, redefined the form of this genre. The PITS 2 takes that evolution a step further with a truly unique non-locking mechanism that consists of two integral spring arms machined into the handle scales. The forward end of these arms, which supports the blade pivot, flexes as the blade is opened to provide pressure for its notched-joint mechanism to bear against the stop pin. Meticulously machined from solid 6AL-4V titanium, the matte-finished handle scales are paired with a full-flat-ground, satin-finished blade crafted from Bohler-Uddeholm's M398 particle metallurgy stainless steel. A remarkable expression of Spyderco's SLIPIT concept, the PITS 2's symmetrical design is complemented by a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole in the blade and a reversible tip-up pocket clip to make every aspect of its carry and operation completely ambidextrous.

Key Features

Slipit Lock

M398 Blade Steel

Gray Titanium Handle

Specifications

UPC

716104000241

Manufacturer

Spyderco

Manufacturer Part #

C269TIP

Model

PITS 2 SLIPIT

Type

Folding Knife

Color

Silver

Edge

Plain

Description

Folding Knife

Size

2.74"

Packaging

Box

Finish

Satin

Material

M398

Handle Color

Gray

California Proposition 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
